Job Description:
Supply Chain Analysts (SCAs) work as individual contributors and/or on project teams. SCAs have a core responsibility to ensure Continuous Improvement by applying mathematics, statistics, advanced analytics and optimization modeling to find patterns and relationships in data to help create supply strategies. Applies modeling and other methods to gather and interpret data and to recommend new procedures and processes; conducts competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify areas of opportunity to further optimize Intel's supply chain.
The SCAs identify process improvements based on thorough understanding of the business processes and supply chain dependencies. SCAs communicate, explain, and clarify issues with the customer/business groups/divisions, and translate business requirements. Some SCAs perform specialized tasks in addition to their core job responsibilities, such as consulting on tools, systems, quality and controls, services, or processes; provide input to system/process design; and/or provide content knowledge support and troubleshooting. SCAs may work on several projects & ramp;/or programs simultaneously, managing multi stakeholders, conduct budget & ramp;/or headcount planning, business forecasting, constraint analysis, inventory analysis, Plan/POR, benchmarking and departmental indicators.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Requirements:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor or Master's degree in Supply Chain Engineering/Management, Operations Research or related technical field required.
* Requires strong capabilities in process and data modelling and summarizing complex data for technical and nontechnical audiences.
* Experience in supply chain - procurement/purchasing/planning
* Communication and presentation skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams
* Problem solving
* Critical thinking
* Working in ambiguous environment across diverse cross functional teams
* Strong knowledge of Intel's system and tools including SAP is a plus.
Language skills: English and Chinese fluent.
