Job Title: Industrial Engineer Intern

Description:
Industrial Engineers plan plant, production facilities and equipment layouts, determines the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow, and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Develops metrics to measure equipment and factory capacity and output, and to identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may plan and schedule training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. This internship offers a variety of opportunities to acquire 300mm wafer manufacturing practical experiences as following:
Responsible for capacity management and productivity improvement for the toolset on the floor.
Create and utilize tactical capacity model to perform tactical what-if analysis.
Evaluating and coordinating scenarios with stakeholders for capacity metrics, run rules, reuse, capital improvement, install/conversion, etc.
Partnering with management to develop applications to improve production metrics.
Provide input into layout solutions that solve the problems statement and also meets IE criteria of conserving space, cost, future plan, etc.

Qualifications:
At least meet one of following background: Industrial Engineering, Operation Research and Software development.
Advanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills.
Advanced understanding of statistics.
Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects.  
Strong partnering and team-working skills.
Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills.
Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
